The Warm Homes Local Grant?

If you are a homeowner, you may be entitled to receive a grant of up to 拢30,000 towards eligible measures to improve the energy efficiency of your property.

Might you be eligible for the grant?

You may be eligible if:

  • You are located in Lancashire
  • Your property has a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of band D, E, F or G
  • It is located in an eligible  area. No financial evidence would be required. 
  • The household income is less than 拢36,000 gross (before the deduction of income tax).
  • In receipt of means-tested benefits, including Cold Weather Payment, Housing Benefit, Pension Credit, Council Tax Support, Income Support and Universal Credit.

The Warm Homes: Local Grant considers Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) postcodes as part of its eligibility criteria. Households located in IMD postcodes are prioritised for funding. If your postcode falls within these areas, you may qualify for the grant even if your household income slightly exceeds the standard threshold.
