Luv Preston
Luv Preston is here for anyone in Preston who needs a helping hand with food. Luv Preston Food Bank believe no one in the community should go hungry.
The mission is straightforward: ensure everyone has access to the meals they need during times of need.
Food poverty is becoming an increasing need in our city, with some families and individuals struggling to put food on the table due to issues like debt, benefit sanctions and relationship breakdowns.
Luv Preston's team of volunteers delivers food parcels weekly to those in need of emergency food provisions, working with individuals to refer them to other support services and help find longer-term, sustainable solutions.
In need of a food parcel?
Food parcels are done on a referral basis, usually from GPs, schools, CAB and other charities and organisations.
- Reach out - If you're struggling, contact Luv Preston. There's no judgment, just help.
- Referral - Luv Preston works with local agencies and community services, or you can visit Luv Preston directly; someone will guide you through the process.
- Collect your food - You'll receive a food box filled with essentials to support you and your family.
If you need emergency food provision, you can also , and they will do a brief assessment and a self-referral for you.
